The Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Pattaraanong Na Chiangmai underlined the grave repercussions of ignoring the growing crime wave, saying, “Without tourism, Thailand will face a very serious economic crisis.”The Thai government is working closely with Chinese authorities to address cross-border crimes, as evidenced by the arrests of 12 individuals linked to Wang Xing’s abduction.
