Home » India Travel News » Singapore Tourism Board Showcases Travel Innovation in India with Immersive Experience Zone and Game-Changing B2B Roadshow in New Delhi and Kochi Tuesday, July 22, 2025The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has just concluded an impressive B2B roadshow in two top cities in India – New Delhi & Kochi from 15 – 17 July, 2025. Organised in collaboration with over 60 tourism industry partners from Singapore, the roadshow sought to deepen the engagement with Indian travel professionals and showcase the latest offerings and tourism products from the destination in an interactive and immersive manner.New Format Transforms Trade EngagementA major highlight of the event was the launch of a new Experience Zone in New Delhi. Replacing the traditional tabletop format typically seen at trade events, this innovative setup allowed travel partners—from attractions to cruise lines and airports—to showcase their services in a more dynamic and engaging environment. One of the standout features of the Experience Zone was a dedicated Sentosa-themed space, described as an “island within the zone.” This section brought together seven different exhibitors from the popular Singaporean resort destination, offering a consolidated view of Sentosa’s wide range of leisure attractions and entertainment options.By creating immersive environments, the Experience Zone allowed Indian travel agents and trade professionals to experience what Singapore has to offer in a more tangible way, enhancing their ability to promote the destination to clients.Strong MICE Growth from IndiaIndia remains one of Singapore’s strongest source markets for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) travel. In the first half of 2025 alone, over 500,000 Indian travelers visited Singapore, many of them as part of incentive groups, conferences, and large-scale corporate events. In response to this growing demand, STB announced the launch of the “Singapore DMC Trade Partner Fam Support Scheme” starting August 1, 2025. This initiative supports Singapore-based Destination Management Companies in organizing familiarisation trips for Indian travel agents. The goal is to provide agents with firsthand knowledge of new attractions, helping them better promote Singapore to Indian audiences.Exclusive Incentives for Group TravelThe board is also expanding its well-received “Just Between Us Friends” campaign to include MICE travelers. Indian incentive groups traveling to Singapore between August 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026 will enjoy exclusive perks. These include special offers and benefits from Sentosa attractions, city-wide tourism partners, and airline collaborators such as IndiGo and Singapore Airlines. These added-value incentives aim to make Singapore even more attractive to corporate groups and large delegations, positioning the city-state as a preferred destination for high-quality business travel experiences.Deepening Bilateral Tourism TiesThe recent trade roadshow also coincides with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Singapore, a milestone that underscores the enduring connection between the two countries. The STB emphasized its continued commitment to the Indian market by introducing new initiatives, creating innovative trade engagement formats, and offering Indian travelers increasingly personalized and enriching experiences. As Indian outbound travel continues to rise, Singapore is making significant investments to remain a top destination for both leisure and business travelers. The country is actively enhancing its tourism offerings, introducing new experiences, and strengthening engagement with the Indian market to ensure it stays relevant and appealing. The recent roadshow’s success highlights how innovative marketing strategies—such as immersive showcases and collaborative campaigns with local travel partners—can play a vital role in promoting sustainable tourism growth. By focusing on direct trade engagement and experiential promotion, Singapore is reinforcing its long-term commitment to one of its most important travel markets.
